Join Indiana's Teaming With Wildlife Coalition

If you feel passionately about our state's wildlife, and if you want to make a difference in the management and protection thereof, we urge you to review Indiana's State Wildlife Action Plan. Becoming familiar with the issues facing our environment is the first step in confronting them.

We also encourage you, your church, school, business, conservation club, or organization to sign the Teaming With Wildlife Endorsement Form and join our coalition. Your signature will show Congress that there is widespread support for dedicated nongame wildlife funding in Indiana. You will also have the chance to participate in coalition activities, voice your opinion, and actively take a stand for our fauna.

January 23, 2007 was Conservation Day at the Indiana Statehouse. Several conservation organizations set up information booths in the Atrium of the Statehouse for legislators and the public to view. They voiced concerns over water quality, land use, wildlife, and much more. The Indiana Wildlife Federation was present, and used a portion of their time publicizing the State Wildlife Action Plan and the Teaming with Wildlife Coalition.

IWF has also advocated support of the State Wildlife Action Plan and TWW by making presentations to the Indiana Conservation Alliance, the Land Trust Alliance, and other conservation and recreational groups.
